2‑thread operations. The main advantage of 2‑thread operations is a light seam that does not stiffen the garment. Several different stitches can be performed with 2 threads: 2‑thread overlock, 2‑thread rolled hem, and 2‑thread flatlock. These operations can be used for edge finishing before sewing a straight stitch along the edge.

Rolled overlock stitch. A rolled hem can be performed with 2 or 3 threads. A 2‑thread rolled hem uses less thread and is less dense—softer, intended for thin fabrics. Rolled hems are commonly used for finishing the edges of napkins, tablecloths, and other decorative items. This stitch is also perfect for hemming scarves. For an even more pronounced effect, decorative thread can be inserted into the loopers.

Flatlock stitch. A flatlock stitch can be performed with 2 or 3 threads. It can be used for decorative purposes. To achieve a decorative effect, decorative thread is used (inserted into the upper looper or the needle).

3‑thread overlock. Three‑thread overlock can be performed wide or narrow (babylock). This type of overcasting is used for knitted garments and in places where the seam will not be heavily stretched. This stitch is also used when sewing with a blind stitch foot or when performing a narrow rolled overlock stitch.

4‑thread overlock. A reinforced overlock stitch for edge finishing. This stitch has an additional reinforcing thread that further strengthens the standard 3‑thread overlock. Suitable for a very wide range of fabrics.

5‑thread stitch. A stitch using one needle in the overlock position and one needle in the coverstitch position. It performs overcasting with a parallel seam next to it.

Chain stitch. A chain stitch is more elastic than a regular straight stitch, but not extremely stretchy. Because of this property, it is ideal for fabrics prone to wrinkling. This stitch, combined with the speed of an overlock machine, ensures fast sewing of long and strong seams. A 2‑thread chain stitch helps reinforce existing seams. This stitch can also be used for temporary joining of fabric, as it can be easily removed when needed.

To achieve a special decorative effect, decorative threads can be used (multicolored, metallic, silk/embroidery). When sewing from the wrong side of the garment, a unique decorative effect appears on the right side.

3 mm and 6 mm coverstitch. These stitches are used for sewing highly elastic knit fabrics (sportswear, underwear, knitwear) and as decorative elements. Such stitches are elastic and do not tear when the fabric is stretched.

3‑needle coverstitch. A coverstitch using three needles and a coverstitch looper ensures the most elastic seam of all overlock operations. These stitches can also be used as decorative elements.

Distinctive features and technical specifications:

  1. Automatic looper threading (thanks to an excellent mechanism, the lower looper and coverstitch looper can be threaded quickly with a single movement).
  2. Narrow rolled hem (babylock) stitch (no need to change the needle plate; only one movement is required to switch the plate finger: “N” for normal overlocking and sewing, and “R” for narrow overlocking and sewing).
  3. Stitch length adjustment (from 1 mm to 4 mm).
  4. Cutting width adjustment (up to 7 mm).
  5. Upper knife disengagement.
  6. Differential feed (thanks to differential feed adjustment, you can sew knitted fabrics with high quality and avoid puckering when sewing thin fabrics).
  7. Easily removable snap‑on presser foot.
  8. Built‑in light.
  9. Color‑coded threading (thread paths marked in different colors).
  10. Convenient carrying handle.
  11. Handwheel.
  12. Electronic speed controller (foot pedal).
  13. Presser foot pressure regulator (for sewing various types of fabrics).
