Liisa weaving looms are large, traditional Scandinavian looms designed for both lightweight fabrics and sturdy rugs. Thanks to their stability and versatility, Liisa looms are among the most popular in Finland, suitable for both hobbyists and professional weavers.

The standard Liisa 100 cm model comes with a standing beater, but a hanging beater can be selected if preferred. The large side opening provides easy access to the warp and tie‑up, making the weaving process more comfortable and ergonomic.

Liisa looms are most commonly used as countermarch looms, but they can also be configured as counterbalance looms. The warp beam with holders can be easily removed without dismantling the loom. An optional cog‑wheel warp tension and release mechanism allows the weaver to adjust warp tension without leaving the bench.

The Liisa 100 cm model can be equipped with 4, 8, or 12 shafts (16 available by special order). Additional options include computer control, a double warp and back beam, and a fly‑shuttle device.

Liisa looms feature a strong, durable construction, making them ideal for intensive use. They are stable enough for heavy rugs yet gentle enough for delicate, lightweight fabrics.

The package includes a Liisa bench (50 cm), rubber floor protectors, a cork plate, a scissor holder, a mallet for tightening wedges, and a user manual. The loom is supplied with a lower beater and a cog‑wheel warp release mechanism as standard, but an upper beater can also be selected.
