Quilting Foot #72
This foot allows sewing along the edge of a quilting ruler. This way, you can easily create decorative quilt designs such as lines, feathers, circles, and more. It can be used with any ¼-inch thick plexiglass quilting rulers. The height of the foot’s sole allows sewing along all edges of these rulers, which is especially important when working with circles.
When using this technique, the feed dogs are lowered, and the fabric with the plexiglass ruler is guided manually, with the foot base resting against the ruler’s edge. Thanks to the adjustment dial, the foot height can be individually set to match the thickness of the fabric, allowing the fabric to move freely under the foot.
