This foot allows sewing along the edge of a quilting ruler. This way, you can easily create decorative quilt designs such as lines, feathers, circles, and more. Compatible with any ¼-inch thick plexiglass quilting rulers. The height of the foot’s sole allows sewing along all ruler edges, which is especially important when working with circles.

In this technique, the feed dogs are lowered, and the fabric with the plexiglass ruler is guided manually, with the foot base resting against the ruler’s edge. The adjustment dial allows the foot height to be individually set to match the fabric thickness, so the fabric moves freely under the foot.

Thanks to the slit in the sole of foot #72S, you can change the sewing foot without cutting the thread. This makes it easy to switch from ruler work to other applications. The foot is compatible with various attachments.
