ScreenLink USB connection cable

The DesignaKnit software on your computer connects to your knitting machine via a special cable through the computer’s USB port. The USB ScreenLink cable is suitable for punchcard and non-computerized knitting machines. This cable enables interactive knitting with DesignaKnit 5 and newer versions. The garment is knitted based on a pre-designed pattern in the software. The cable’s sensor attaches to the machine and the carriage; when the sensor is triggered, it sends a signal to the computer, and the software counts the rows. You can track the knitted rows according to the pattern in the software and view all program messages and alerts, such as when to increase or decrease stitches, etc. This cable does not transmit the pattern to the knitting machine.

DesignaKnit can print templates with original measurements for creating punchcards for most knitting machines. Using these templates, you can easily create and produce the punchcard you need. The DesignaKnit software must be purchased separately.

Set includes: cable with sensor and USB connector, magnet, CD with driver and cable testing software, instructions in English or Russian.
